Simple and uncluttered: DNA test and dashboard

The patient collects some saliva for the DNA test. Once the results are complete, you can easily view them on a special dashboard for pharmacists. You can see at a glance the efficacy of over 20 CYP enzymes, transport proteins and receptors.

DNA test for patients
The DNA test kit contains a tube for saliva collection (DNA sample). You can give it to patients in the pharmacy or offer it online.
DNA analysis
In the laboratory, DNA variations are mapped for genes that code for a wide range of enzymes, transport proteins, receptors and HLA types.
Presentation of test results
Both the pharmacist and the patient can access the pharmacogenetic profile. The pharmacist can view the full profile, including dosing recommendations, on the iGenius DNA dashboard. The patient can see a summary using the iGene app.
Dosing recommendation
On the iGenius DNA dashboard, you will also find specific advice on the choice of medicines and associated doses. These dosing recommendations are only visible to the doctor and pharmacist and are based on current guidelines provided by the Royal Dutch Association for the Advancement of Pharmacy (KNMP)/Dutch Pharmacogenetics Working Group (DPWG).
